Welcome to the Agape Center


The Agape Center, located in northern Macomb County, exists to help individuals and families who need emergency assistance.  Our pantry is stocked with canned goods, meat products, fresh produce and personal care items.  In addition to our pantry, the center helps sponsoring churches with clients facing shut-off and eviction notices.  Caring volunteers treat everyone with dignity and respect as they navigate the difficult times in life.

July Update

​In July, 109 families came to the Agape Center for help. These families consisted of 341individuals. Agape volunteers provided over 277 hours of service to the food insecure of
our community. In-kind donations totaled 4,143 pounds.

​Culver’s shares portion of sales with Agape Center

​On July 14, the Washington Township Culver’s hosted “Neighbors Supporting Neighbors,” a
fundraiser to benefit the Agape Center. Volunteers delivered meals to drive-through and dining
room customers with a portion of all sales that evening going to the Agape Center. Thanks to
Culver’s owner Eric Matoy and his staff for a fun and productive evening!
