Welcome to the Agape Center

The Agape Center, located in northern Macomb County, exists to help individuals and families who need emergency assistance.  Our pantry is stocked with canned goods, meat products, fresh produce and personal care items.  In addition to our pantry, the center helps sponsoring churches with clients facing shut-off and eviction notices.  Caring volunteers treat everyone with dignity and respect as they navigate the difficult times in life.

Agape Center News Flash

November Update

In November, 138 families, 32 percent more than the previous month, came to the
Agape Center for help. These families consisted of 531 individuals, which represented
an increase of 70 percent over last month! In the face of this rapidly increasing
demand, we continue to rely on the support of our member parishes, the Macomb
County Food Program and Forgotten Harvest. This month, we received an especially
generous donation of food from the Kiwanis Club, which helped us respond to this
increasing need. And, as always, our volunteers pitched in by providing over 328 hours
of service to the food insecure of our community.
